The reception office in Wellin
In collaboration with All Access (Province of Luxembourg), we would like to inform you that facilities have been made available for:
- people in wheelchairs
- people with walking difficulties
- the visually impaired
- people with impaired hearing (no visual alarm system)
- people with comprehension difficulties
- people with autism
The address is Grand Place 2, 6920 Wellin.
The Tourist Office reception desk is easy to find.
The word ‘Office du Tourisme’ is displayed in large letters on the façade.
There is an access ramp.
There’s also a bell if you need help getting in.

The Wellin Tourist Office reception desk is open at the following times:
- 1 September to 30 June: 9am to 1pm (closed on Thursdays and Sundays)
- 1 July to 31 August: 10am to 4pm (closed on Thursdays)
There is a car park with 3 spaces in front of the Office du Tourisme.
The path to the Office du Tourisme entrance is paved with interlocking cobblestones.
There are no slopes, kerbs or road crossings.
There is a PRM parking space around 50 metres from the Office du Tourisme.
There is an accessible toilet on request.
It is equipped to accommodate people with reduced mobility.
Wifi is available free of charge.
Assistance dogs are welcome.
A water container is available on request.
If you need help, a member of staff is on hand at reception.
He or she can see you arrive, help you and provide you with information.
Staff are always on hand to offer help and advice.
You can bring your bike with you, as this tourist information office has been awarded the ‘Bienvenue vélo’ (Welcome by Bike) label.
This means, among other things, that there are routes nearby, that you can store your bike safely and that there is a kit on site for basic repairs.

Access to the building:
- The Tourist Office is very well signposted.
- The entrance door has a clearance of 85 cm
- There is a small kerb at the threshold of the entrance door.
- Assistance is required to enter if you are in a wheelchair.
Staff are on hand to help.
Inside the building:
- Lighting is of good quality and not dazzling.
- The path from the door to the reception desk is wide, intuitive and free of obstacles.
- The walls are in contrasting colours
- Part of the reception desk is lowered.
- There are benches and chairs with armrests on site.
- Brochures, maps, itineraries and various small products are available.
- Most of the brochures and maps are at a convenient height for people of short stature and wheelchair users.
- Payment can be made by card or in cash.

PRMs have difficulty walking.
Access to the building:
- The Office du Tourisme sign is above the entrance door.
- There is a small step to enter the office.
- If you are in a wheelchair, you will need help to get in.
- There is someone on site who can help you.
Inside the building:
- It’s bright in the Office du Tourisme.
- There is plenty of space in the Office.
- The colours of the walls are clearly visible.
- There is a lower desk so that people in chairs can sit comfortably.
- There are benches and chairs.
- There is a toilet in the Office du Tourisme.
The toilet is large enough for wheelchair users.
You need to be careful, however, as the handrail is not properly fitted. - You can pay with a bank card or cash.
