MUDIA in Redu
In collaboration with All Access (Province of Luxembourg), we would like to inform you that facilities have been made available for:
- people with reduced mobility
- the visually impaired
- the hearing impaired
- people with comprehension difficulties
- people with autism
The address is Place de l’Esro 61, 6890 Redu.
MUDIA in Redu is located next to the tourism building.
The building is easily identifiable thanks to its sign.

MUDIA is open at the following times:
- Wednesday to Friday, 10am to 5pm
- Saturdays, Sundays and
- public holidays from 10am to 6pm
- during school holidays: daily from 10am to 6pm
- Closed on 25 December and 1 January.
The museum is open to the public.
Guided tours are available by prior arrangement.
There are no PRM parking spaces near the museum.
There is a PRM parking space in the square near the church (close to the museum).
The museum is located along the road, which is on a slope.
There is a PRM toilet available in the museum.
It is located near the main entrance of the MUDIA.
It is recommended that wheelchair users enter in reverse as there is not enough space to turn around.
WIFI is available in the museum.
Assistance dogs are welcome.
The Mudia’s reception staff are disability-aware.
If you need help, a member of staff will be on hand to give you all the information you need.

There are lockers (with key) located near the museum reception.
These lockers are at different heights.
They are available for storing your jacket and bag, for example, during your visit.

Useful information
Access to the building:
- The main entrance to the museum is not accessible to wheelchair users as there are steps.
There are steps up to the main entrance. - The path to reception is barrier-free.
- Staff at reception can see and help open the front door if necessary.
- There is another entrance on the right.
This entrance is for wheelchair users (it is also the entrance to MUDIA Café). - If MUDIA Café is closed, there is an entry phone.
Ring the bell and the museum receptionist will open the door for you.
The door opens manually.
There is a small step.
Inside the museum:
- The route to the reception desk is easy to follow.
- The reception desk is well lit.
- The reception desk has a low level for easy access by wheelchair users.
- The museum has several floors.
- A lift is reserved exclusively for people with reduced mobility or special needs to get around MUDIA.
- There are wide passageways on the different floors of the museum and in the MUDIA Café.
- Mobile ramps have been installed to allow access from one room to another.
- There is seating along the way.
- In some rooms, the lighting is dimmer.
- The works are well lit.
- The labels are easy to read.
- There are no lines on the floor.
- There are handrails.
- Some of the staircases between the different rooms, as well as the one leading to the terrace, are secured with red adhesive tape.
- When you have paid the entrance fee, you will receive a ticket. Keep the ticket with you throughout the visit, as you will be able to scan it in front of the different works.This will give you more information about what you are seeing.
- The information on the panels is in French and Dutch.
- Information on the interactive terminals and on the audio guide is available in French, Dutch, English and German.
- An audio guide is available for additional information.
- The tour is intuitive.
- There are no organised tours in French sign language.
